spark plug
ok well I just changed my spark plugs, rotor and cap...It was having a fireback kinda feeling when I let the clucth go and and gas go.. I just test drived it and it runs alot better no fireback as of yet....Well here is the dilemna I found oil on one on the plugs and wires anyone know the problem. Seems costly....
help please any suggestions will be appreciated :paranoid: Thanx in advance |
is it the second cylinder from the timing belt ? it's not that expensive. you are looking at $45 for the parts and half a day labor on the car if u do it yourself. all the rocker arm assembly is gotta go out to replace the gasket
here is like what you have to go thru ![]() valve cover off ![]() rocker arm assembly off ![]() head without rocker arm assembly it's a pain in the rear and after all the work you need to redo the valve adjustament |
thanx for the help Hondamaniac, but it was the 1st cylinder on the left next to the dist. cap. someone told me that I need to change my valve cover gasket and get some spark plug seals.. What you think sound bout right.
|
yup it sounds right. but it's the lower gasket that is leaking not the one between the cover and the assembly.

All right thanx I appreciate the help good lookin out...
