anyone out there play neocron? my friend jsut got it, and he;s trying to get me to play. its 9.95 a month, or 45.95 for 6 months. it looks like a blast, anyone have any feedback?

They are all trying to be EQ

EQ came out, and then there were 3!

EQ Asherons Call, and UO

then out came:
Anarachy Online (failed)
DAOC (Failed/Failing)
now i hear about these that all come out at once

Neocron
Eve Online
Earth and Beyond

there is a french exchange student that lvies at my friends hosue, Eve and E+B are the same damn game, and Neocron crashed after i walked around for 45 minutes looking for something to kill

EQ was the best, EQ is old.. and these new ones are just going to fail because of lack of tech support and i dont like the idea that after 4 years, like 6 come out at once..

yeah... if this was a year ago, i'd do EQ, but all my friends that played EQ just sold off their accounts and quit playing.

i been playing eq since release, im so tired of it, i quit pretty much, i only play when a friend needs me for something

if you think its a waste of money put it this way..

say you play eq, and you like it... say you play it for 10 hours a week (most eople that play eq play way more)

how much do you spend in 10 hours to go do something?

im sure its alot more than 3 dollars...

Actually I saw a release date of early Feb. I dont know how accurate that is, I couldnt imagine it being to far off.:paranoid:

Most of the online games that make you pay $10 a month update every month or more.

battlefield cant hold my attention for 1 hour, let alone 10
