camber, mugen lip....
I remember some one here that fixed their camber with some washer i was wondering if that person could please stand up...please stand up.....oh sorry got side tracked. but I wanted to see how many they used and how you did it. It makes sense how it works just want to see how you did it.
Also i am lookin for a mugen front lip for my car but they seemed to all disapear from E-bay and everywhere else....soem one point me in the right direction please |
well the camber trick works only for the rear wheels, and you will either end up buying a camber kit for the front, or a dealer messing with your engine craddle.
for the rear is quite simple: remove the upper arm, add 2 washers and then put a longer screw in |
I would suggest purchasing a front + rear ingalls. It would be 10x easier for the people at the alignment place to adjust your camber w/o doing the whole washer trick
|
umm, the alignment place doesnt install the washers for you. you DIY.
www.jdmfan.com/technical theres a write-up in the suspension section. i used 2 washers on the stock bolts and then used loc-tite on it. worked out great and only cost me like $0.85 for 8 washers |

I know, but if the camber is still slightly off when you take it in for alignment, it'd be a ***** to use the washer trick. (Taking off and putting back the arm everytime) |
Hey thanks EJ6 I was looking for you, I remembered who you were but couldnt remember your name. You still happy with your mugen lip???
