firewall?
does anybody know if there is a hole in the fire wall to run wires to the battery? if not i have to drill.
|
there are existing holes but they're usually filled with rubber grommets made to fit both the hole and the exact number of wires that already go through it.
If you do drill make sure you prime the bare metal after you drill and use a rubber grommet to stop water from leaking in your pass. compartment. |
ive always found holes to use... just godda look
|
the hole for the wiring harness is pretty big
|
i know i had to punch that rubber in the harness to hook my brother's system to his integra. and when i had to run wires inside mine i removed and drilled the palate for the clutch ( cause i have an auto)
|
i poke holes in that rubber grommet. the rubber usually seals back over the wire i put through. if not then i put some silicon on it and seal it back again.

on your car there is a hole on the drivers side under where the clutch fluid would go. Its big enough to run 1/0 awg wire through. I had to do this. It comes out about 3" above the kick panel.

often times there is a rubber cap you just pop out. In mine, its almost like they expect you to put a system in your car. look closely.
