how long is it good
I have some super blue fluid from 03 at home, and I'm curious if it is still good. The container was opened and used, but has been sitting sealed since then.
I know air plays a major role with brake fluid, and if it has gotten into the brake fluid, it *could* lower the boiling point. Anyone have any insight? Thank You! |
should be good if the lid was perfectly sealed. it's moisture that kills the brake fluid, not the air.

i personally feel brake fulid is more durable than most people thing. One example is when i was taking my brakes and suspension class my instructor wanted to test the boiling point of my 5 year old brake fulid that was in my car. To his amazement, it passed the boiling test with flying colors. So yeah i wouldn't be too worried.
