RS*R Ex-Mag Cat-Back Exhaust System

Anyone ever seen or heard of that exhaust? A lot of people told me that it's really quiet, almost like stock. I'm interested in this cat-back exhaust system. Anyone have any input about this exhaust? Thanks. :)

Yeah, I posted about it before. I found out some info:

4" tip, 3" inner tip

73 dB idle, 89 dB @ 4650 RMS.

I wish the tip was smaller and I'd get it in a heartbeat. The old RS*R stuff was very sought after, and I hope they do the same with these products.

Have you heard much about them since they returned to the U.S.? I've heard that the old ones sound incredible, but I've never heard one in person. Have you?

I just don't know about a 4" tip...

What the factory exhaust dB? I want it to be as quiet as stock, that's why.

I don't know the factory sound levels. The RS*R ex-mag, and maybe the Apexi WS are probably the 2 quietest exhausts out there. They should still sound nice and deep, but not boominly loud. The problem with the WS is that it hangs down extremely low and has an even larger tip. I prefer this style tip that is angled.

Chris, was the RS*R you heard pretty quiet? Its nice to hear from people who have actual experience with something before I dump money into an exhaust.

i havnt herd a quieter exaust than an rs*r

Anyone know how's the power gain with that exhaust? Anyone have any dyno result by using that exhaust? As for the sound, since you guys are comparing it with the A'PEXi WS, I guess I would definitely like how the sound of the muffler but I just want to know more about the power gain by using the Ex-Mag exhaust. Currently I also have a Mugen header on my car.

i like the way that exhaust looks like but i prefer my thermal. very quiet if i don't get on it, but sounds like a v8 at wot.

I haven't been able to find any dyno charts for this exhaust yet. If you want the most power, their straight through exhausts will probably be better, but they'll be loud. If you find charts, post them up!

I saw this posted on at HOnda Tech.

These guys have RSR stuff on sale right now. I think several of the Integra guys have bought exhausts from them with good results.

Maybe they have some power info too.

$495 sounds like a pretty good price for a cat-back exhaust system. Anyone know if that's the best price for the RS*R Ex-Mag?
