msd ignition and autometer tach
 

i just orderd a msd 6a and blaster 2 coil and a autometer monster tach, one of my friends told me today that they wont hookup together, or at least he couldnt get his to, is it possible to get them to run together, and do i need to cut my stock tach? someone told me the autometer will be off if i dont, and, do i need a new distributor with the ignition? and finaly someone told me the ignition will melt my ignition rotor or something, is this a problem? thanx in advance for any answers
