Have questions.. need answers??

I am looking to supercharge my car but I am not sure what mods will go best with my car. I have 2002 civic H/B. DOHC 2.0L 160hp. I am not sure what mods are necessary to supercharge this type of engine.. especially since it's the H series engine type. I think I remember reading that H engines have weaker piston rings and rockers than the Notorious B-series. Any advice for a noob?

h series? maybe u meant k series........but yea the k-series i here is very strong and very responsive to hp gains by any basic mods much like the B-series sibling.........as far as modifying the engine for handling forced induction, i think they make bolt-on superchargers for the RsX without any major modification of the engine itself possibly running as high as 8psi safely, time will tell maybe one for the 03Si is in the works or is already out...........good luck

i think Comptech or Jackson is making superchargers for those K-series. But to start off, i say go ahead get a cat-back system. this mod will benefit you later once you get your SC. a kit is a kit. for the most part, these product will have everything that you need to make it work. just plan on getting a couple gauges, such as boost and air/fuel ratio. peace

I have done intakes and cat. backs/headers on the RSXs and can say they respond very well to just those parts. I think by the end of the year there will be a few turbo kits out as well.;)
