Help with 5th gen Civic rear deck speakers
 

Hey all,

I have a 95 Civic EX and my stereo consists of an Alpine 7863 head unit with Infinity reference 552i 5 1/4" speakers in the doors, along with the factory tweeters up in the higher portion of the doors. I have removed my 2 rear deck speakers already. Read on for an explanation.

What size speakers fit in the rear deck of my car?? They're definitely not the same size speakers as the factory door speakers, because I ordered two sets of 552i's and they fit perfect in the doors, and the almost fell through the holes in the rear deck. Will 6 1/2" speakers fit in the rear deck?? Can anybody with a 5th gen civic who has done this replacement help me out w\ correct speaker size please?
