spoon rims are bank...the most popular are the sw388 rims. they weigh around 10-13 lbs(don't quote me on that though). spoon rims are manufactured by spoon...http://www.spoonsports.co.jp/ or http://www.spoon-sports.com/ will give you all the info
:)

Spoons rims are the shit and look sweet up on a ride if you have the cash flow to flaunt them..

You could or can opt for knock off but the choice is up to you....

$1,700 for 15's ?!?!?!?!?!? WTF ?!?!?

That's Crazy ... what do you shave 20 lbs total ???

And they don't even come in chrome !?!?

nauticapinoy 04-19-2002 12:35 PM

spoon doesn't make the sw 388 in 17's. the biggest are 16's

90civiclxryder 04-19-2002 04:56 PM

looks like i might get knock off's ;)

ZeroAccess 04-19-2002 10:02 PM

The picture listed on this thread are knock-offs
Spoon rims have just 4 holes they don't have the like rectangular hole....

I could be wrong but I don't think I am

the $400 pricetag hes referring to is for rota slipstreams. knockoffs. they can be found on www.groupbuycenter.com

9092002SI 04-24-2002 01:28 PM

what is the difference between the rota and spoon? and does rota have a website.

slowEJ6 04-24-2002 01:45 PM

rota = knockoff, they arent as strong. but they are awesome wheels. i have rotas :D
spoon = jdm aftermarket, strong wheels, not too rare anymore. not really worth the money imo.
