D4 light Gives code 14
 

My car is stuck in I don't know what gear but it won't shift up. The D4 light is off and running fine; then after driving for about 20 minutes the D4 light comes on. I check the connection on the passenger side kick panel and the D4 light gives a code 14. What is a code 14? My brother is going to school at UTI and got some diagrams to check the code but we got nowhwere. Does anybody know what it could be? Thanks.

sorry to come this late on this post, but i just fixed the shop computer. anyway the code 14 means that you have a shorted or open wire between the ecu and the atcu.
