Hybrid Xmas gift ideas!
 

Hey xmas is coming on quickly.....ok not really....but it will be here soon....I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want you may get me the Meguiars HKS twin charger kit for my B18C5....thanks in advance. What does everyone else want for their hybrid that they have ab-so-freeking-lutely no chance whatsoever of getting? Time to vent. :pukey <--- that is not venting.

speaking of which, you got any info on that hks system? id like to read up on its specs. tia.

It was written up in the last issue of Super Street! :) I know off the top of my head that it is running stock compression and stock internals because HKS wants to make it a direct bolt on kit. It is has held up running a combined 22.5 psi of boost to make 442 whp. Here I got the specs:

Eaton Roots style supercharger
HKS 2835 ball bearing turbo
intercooler
HKS FCON S fuel/spark computer
550cc RC Eng. injectors

HKS says the setup can run a reliable 325whp on the street! Thats all I can see. :)

hmm, how much are they gonna sell for? i may have to get one of those instead ;)

They dont have a price yet....they have not even begun to try to make a production kit as far as I know.....but that is definetly the reason for keeping the engine internals stock. HKS seems to lag on product releases....I would not expect this kit to come out until I can afford it :) ;) so maybe a few years!

damn, i cant wait a few more years to boost.....thats just TOO long. im lucky if i make it to xmas.

My personal santa gave me the finger and told me to shove the carrot I left for rudolph up my arse....not very nice and not a good sign as far as the twin charger kit goes :) I think santa sucks....All I can do is hope that blitzen poops on his head!

Fmax is in my humble opinion making one of the top notch turbo kits available right now....too bad they cant make em 50 state legal for us lame ass Cali pee-pole :)
