Dude... it's your headgasket!!!!! This is the culprit of all your porblems including your "not firing on all cylinders" thread. Bad headgasket means losing comrpession therefore no fire. Bad headgasket leads to oil leaks. Bad headgasket leads to coolant leaks. Bad headgasket leads to internal leak-by, once your motor reaches combustion phase, the internal leak-by will force hot gas to enter the jacket water side (the coolant side) which pretty much boils the shit out of your coolant..............
oh yeah, do not reuse those head studs/bolts. Get a new set. I would also get that head resurfaced..... |
but i fixed the damn thing. it still overheats. i got new head studs.
Did you get the head resurfaced?
no, why would that cuase overheating issuses?
If your head is not flat, your headgasket will not seal properly even with aftermarket head studs.
you need to resuface the head every time? or just if its like been on there for a really long time....
i always thought you could just use copper spray the first time it happened?
Oh, my friend who is met similar problem.
Oh my god.
I think overheating is a common problem. We need to fix it.
