DSM 450cc injectors in b18b FI
 

hey. im swapping a JDM B18b into my EF civic si. ive got a turbo build for the engine all planned out. ive run into some problems along the way in deciding about injectors for my setup.
the basic plans for my setup are:

stock bottom end
completely rebuild cylinderhead
ARP headstuds
Oem headgasket
T3 60 trim high output turbo
6 psi on low boost, 11 on high
conversion from Obd0-Obd1
tune with uberdata

now, i have a set of 450 cc dsm injectors that have been cleaned and flowed. some people are telling me that they are a pain to use for my application and just tell me to get a similar sized injector from RC. im starting to understand that i need a resistor box to run these injectors because of the obd1 conversion. can i use the honda resistor box from the civic or do i need a DSM turbo resistor box? a buddy of mine ran DSM bluetops in his zc turbo civic, and he told me that the ef civics already have a resistor box and that he didnt need to use one. does anyone know how to fully install these DSM injectors in a setup like mine?? can they give me some sort of instruction on what needs to be done when it comes to wiring the injectors?
another friend of mine is running 440 cc bosch injectors in his turbo gti and says good things about them.does anyone know anything about these bosch injectors and how they would work on a honda setup? is it worth runnig the dsm injectors or just buying new injectors? hopefully someone has some answers to my questions

Yeah, you will want the honda resistor box, that you should already have.

Personally, I dont like anything that bosch makes...

Im actually looking at RC injectors for my LST setup, but only because they have the capacity that I'll need when its all said and done. If you already have them, and know they'll work, use them.

we try are hardest to answer or tell you where it is.

Be sure you reprogram you ecu unless you have a stand alone because it will not run right if you dont. And for the money the DSM is the way to go. dsm 450's can handle a good bit of hp and as far as cost wise they beat it hands down.

I still have a hard time trusing them...fittings are one thing, internals and injectors are something I'll have to wait and watch

(oh wait...theyre precision injectors :D )

why is it such a hassle using the DSM`s???? i have a chipped p06 running the dsm injectors??? can i get some pro and con stories about these injectors on a setup like mine....

theres a couple ppl aroudn that are using them and have good results. but arent willing to share their info

I know a few people that run em and they love em. No problems with them at all.

nah they're good there. And craig hooks up the boys on HMT :cool:

i have their injectors from their original supplier, and they were having many problems with them (mine are fine), but they corrected the problems without hassle. Plus i've ordered other things too. Good company to work with.
