D16Y7 Engine Specs

1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know the specs for the 96 DX's D16Y7 engine. I called Honda and they wouldn't tell me! They said I HAD to buy the manual. So if any of you have this info it would be much appreciated!

Thanks

No he has a D16(1.6L). They switched to the 1.6 from the 1.5 in the previous gen. Here's a link the specs...

Indeed if it's the 96 DX it should be the
d15B unless that was switched out for the D16

D15B
1493cc, 16valve
SOHC,9.4:1
70 BHP@4500RPM
83 ft-lb torque
Redline 6500

Hope this helps....

If nothing else look on the front of your block and it wil give you the engine code..D15,D15 etc...

Yeah, but I tend to believe Honda. At least I'd hope they'd know what they're putting in their cars.
