its a D15 non vtec civic block. if your wondering me and a friend of mine want to build a d15B Vtec block. using the head of a D16y8.

but the block came with low miles but with scratches. so i dont know what could of cuase that.

The safest way is to get it rehoned but how far do you want to build this motor? New pistons? If u plan to get new pistons of an aftermarket version, then just wait. Have a shop look at the walls. That may determine what size piston diameter you may need.....

not fully build. we want to make it pretty much like a stock D15b. ill see what the shops have to say. right now were fixing the d16y8 head. we took it off a car that was boosting unsafely. bent the valves. we got the head for 55$s.
