Hello all well i just got back from North Carolina which i happen to buy a new car to add to my collection
Well i bought a 95 Honda Prelude for $200.00 in good run condition but i have a bit of concerns
1. I cant run the car that long with the a/c on cause the temp goes up i bar from the middle i dont know if i will need the water pump i have changed the thermostat already and put new antifreeze the fans work fine cause i drove the car from gorosborg NC to El Paso Tx with turning on the a/c and it sucked so please let me know what to do
2. i have a check engine light on what do i do to ge the codes or to read it i dont know if it is the same as the civics

the car came with intake, headers, full catback exhaust. sturt bars and the msd box

i'll buy the car from you for $300

i think it might be the head gasket.

check water pump, and head gasket.

how to get the check engine light. buy a jumper the ecu is on the passanger side next to the glove box.

you dont need a jumper, you can use a paperclip to connect the 2 connections. i'll see if i cant find the CEL codes

check the code, it could be telling you exactly where to look for the problem.

well i would for the code but i dont know what wires to jump on it so i can get the code
and i dont know the codes either if i can get a hold of it, it would be nice
