Sounds disgusting...

This is going to sound disgusting but I just ate Spahgettios and applesauce mixed together and I highly recommend it.

Jufranpnoy 03-18-2003 10:20 AM

Ok ummm....how did you come to mixing those two things together? Doesnt sound too appetizing. But if I have those two things on the dinner table tonight, I will try it

pdiggitydogg 03-18-2003 10:21 AM

um....no thanks...:pukey

msvtec14 03-18-2003 10:37 AM

Um, my friend is 8 months pregnant. She likes to eat weird stuff and she makes me try it. I'm pretty much fearless when it comes to trying new stuff. It was good. I wouldn't lie.

ifeldwn02 03-18-2003 11:09 AM

i think im going to pass on that combo

msvtec14 03-18-2003 11:10 AM

LOL. I think that I grossed everyone out.

HondaTypeJ 03-18-2003 11:15 AM

I'll try that. Sounds kind of good. Sweet taste of apples mixed in with the saucy taste of spagettios....mmmm

msvtec14 03-18-2003 11:18 AM

Ok, I'm not sure if you're busting on me or not but that's really how it is! The kind w/o the little meatballs. They offset eachother nicely.

Just dont bring it too the meet, and we can still get along. . . . . . . . . . . .:) :)

Ive heard of people eating a watermelon slice with catsup on it - now thats really gross.

HondaTypeJ 03-18-2003 11:26 AM

No I am totally serious. I'll will try that. I seems like it may not be all that bad.

Jufranpnoy 03-18-2003 11:47 AM

Yeah I will try it too if my house ever has them at the same time. My mom is funny. She will buy cereal, but no milk; Peanut butter but no jelly or fluff; hot dogs but no hot buns. She is a riot.

I used to put duck sauce on everything...pizza, french fries, hamburgers, to name a few. :)

cashizslick 03-18-2003 11:50 AM

Ok Ok, i guess its not such a bad idea - i will TRY to be open minded about my dietary habits - lol

msvtec14 03-18-2003 12:04 PM

I always thought that escargot would be absolutely disgusting but I had it not too long ago and it was so good. It was prepared in a sauteed garlic sauce and served with a little bit of cheese in a pastry. mmmmm. But I mean if you think about it...How could can snails really be? But then again, that's is considered a delicacy and we're talking about Spahgettios and applesauce.

Jufranpnoy 03-18-2003 12:17 PM

Ugh!!! Snails!!! :pukey Now you went too far. Just kidding Count me out for ever trying snails.

SolPol 03-18-2003 12:33 PM

Duck sauce makes me :pukey

Try Burger King chicken tenders with Tartar sauce that they use for the fish sandwiches. I used to work there many moons ago and I lived on that.

msvtec14 03-18-2003 12:38 PM

No, but they were good. Not what I expected snails to taste like.

I'm bringing some to our meet and I'm writing your name in huge letters on the Tupperware container that it's in. Actually while I'm in Springfield tonight, I think that I will just drop some off for you.

Ok, I left some on your car for you last night. I'm just kidding. Oh man. You know that parking garage right across from the civic center? We got stuck on the 6th floor of that for I kid you not, almost and hour and a half. My friend has a DVD player in his car and we watched Goldmember almost in it's entirety. That parking garage sucks. It is way too unorganized.

cashizslick 03-19-2003 10:05 AM

It sure is, just try being on the top floor after the falcons play the ice cats - that's packed as well.

msvtec14 03-19-2003 10:14 AM

Next time I go there, I will not be parking in that garage. I'll tell you that much.

cashizslick 03-19-2003 01:04 PM

Park in the garage by worthington street - i always park my car there.

msvtec14 03-19-2003 01:46 PM

The next time that I am there, I will have to do that. In addition to bringing your Spahgettios and applesauce to you. I wonder if anyone actually tried it.

SolPol 03-19-2003 02:13 PM

If I had some applesauce I might. I do LOVE spaghettiOs. And applesauce for that matter. Can ya use cinnamon apple sauce? 'Cause cinnamon is the best

If you try BK chicken tenders with tartar sauce, I will try that;)

msvtec14 03-19-2003 02:28 PM

You want to know what else is good? Those honey bbq twisty Fritos dipped in plain cream cheese. I'll try the chicken tenders w/the tartar sauce tomorrow for lunch. I'm not trying to east fast food this late in the day. I suppose that you can use the cinnamon applesauce.

Shot 2 Hel 03-19-2003 04:15 PM

here is my weird food, dip almost everything in BBQ sauce, except for stuff that wouldent be good with it. but i love that stuff... mmmmmmmmmm BBQ

msvtec14 03-19-2003 04:27 PM

That is how I am with honey mustard and sometimes blue cheese. Not mixed together but I just like putting it on stuff.

SolPol 03-19-2003 05:57 PM

Plain Fritos with sour cream is also good. Been doing that since I was a kid.

Man, BBQ, honey mustard, ketchup, mayo, you can always put at least one of those on pretty much anything you eat.

Grilled cheese dipped in ketchup is really good. Hell, whenever my mom made me grilled cheese she always gave me a carrot too. I would dip that in ketchup too.

Thank you :)

msvtec14 03-20-2003 07:35 AM

I put ketchup on mac and cheese sometimes. A little on the top. Yeah, if I have any food that would "normally" involve ketchup then everything gets put in it. And when I have breakfast with home fries and all that, the toast gets put in there too.

SolPol 03-20-2003 08:31 AM

You're making me hungry. Toast and home fries and egg always get all mixed together

And ketchup on mac and cheese is awesome

msvtec14 03-20-2003 08:54 AM

I get my breakfast w/the eggs over easy and then toast goes in the yolk and the ketchup but then when the yolk and toast are gone then the remaining portion of the eggs and the home fries are mixed together w/the ketchup.

SolPol 03-20-2003 08:56 AM

Man, now I need to go to a diner. That sounds just about perfect to me.

msvtec14 03-20-2003 09:04 AM

Nah. I'm still full from the bangin dinner that I had last night. I had a NY strip steak (rare) w/this wild rice and sauteed mushrooms.

SolPol 03-20-2003 09:08 AM

Nice. I'm sorry, I just don't see that many girls that eat steak rare. That's awesome.

msvtec14 03-20-2003 09:17 AM

Hell yeah! I don't like it cooked at all. I want to try steak tartar, which is completly raw. When I went out to dinner on Saturday, the restaurant that I ate at had it but it was for an appitizer and I was getting steak for dinner so I couldn't go overboard with the steak. When it's cooked, it just sucks and it loses all the flavor and seasoning. Raw stuff kicks ass. Sushi. Clams on the halfshell. Oysters. mmmmm.

SolPol 03-20-2003 09:26 AM

Don't know much about the other stuff, but I do like my cow to still be mooing when it's served to me

msvtec14 03-20-2003 09:29 AM

Well, if you ever get the chance...try them out. I like to eat different stuff. You'd be surprised.

SolPol 03-20-2003 09:33 AM

I think I had some oysters with booze in them once.

msvtec14 03-20-2003 09:45 AM

Weird. I'm trying to think what kind of booze would go good with oysters. Maybe something like a bloody mary? That would work.
