Lights Dim
Well im just wondering how to stop my system from making the lights dim every Bass beat...its really noticable (900 watt max Alpine Type S 12inch sub) it just pounds....some people say get a Cap. OR even two...or put in a second battery to run the system itself?? what should i do...
and im absolutly retarded and put this is the wrong forum....SORRY....im dead tired...can someone move this AHAHAHA....*walks away in shame*

Not that I know much about stereos or electronics, but Id say you need a capacitor
yea thats what i was thinking too....i mean if i got a second battery...how would u hook it up so ur alternator charges them both?...and wouldnt i need a upgraded alternator then? :o
i think the bigger alternator is the bigger solution, but caps are cheaper. i think 1f will be enough. just some calcualtion but at max power your amp draws 57-75amps
how much will a bigger alternator be? WHo makes em for my car? i looked at a cap. here...its like 150 bucks plus tax...
just get a 1 farad cap, and call it quits. plus it adds a little to the system especially with the digital readout!
ha...ya funny thing is....just blew my sub last night :) there isnt an distortion...but i can hear just a LITTLE bass coming from it...GRRR but it wont turn up louder...god i hate this....;( ;(
if there is no distortion, than it might not be the sub. what setup were you running
