Yup..

If you're on a budget the NGK Plats will do..

Or if your budget is even tighter, standard NGK's..

If you have the money, go for these. Otherwise, I'd probably just stick with the stock NGKs.

ChrisCantSkate 02-09-2002 03:20 PM

You can get them on GBC for $55 shipped.

Honda_Gurl 02-11-2002 09:44 AM

are the denso a lot better than the NGK? cause actually $55 sounds about the same as i saw the NGK for.

The guy I talked to when I bought mine said they are almost identical in performance, but for some reason, many people swear by Denso. I'd get whichever one you can get the better deal on.

For Irridiums go with Denso.

There is a dyno floating around that says the denso Irr. plugs gained 7hp and 3lbs of torque on a 5th gen prelude. Considering they are about the same price as the stock plugs I would go with the Denso plugs from GBC. I think the dyno is located at http://www.bottlefedracing.com

I would get the Densos, but they aren't even close to the price of stock plugs  What "stock" plugs are you using?

97lude 02-12-2002 02:05 PM

5th gen Preludes have NGK platinum plugs. Last time I called around it was ~$30-$40 to replace them. Denso Irr. are $55 so it isn't that big of a difference. You probably have NGK coppers in your car..;)
