WIN FOR ME!!!!...sorta
 

I was coming up on I-80 from home back to my apartment in Cedar Rapids, and I see these little fuckers (about 17, or 18 maybe) tearing through traffic behind me in a little POS, APC'ed Chevy Beretta. They have to be going like...110 or so(if the car can even DO that fast...) and they're being obnoxious as hell. They pull up next to my car and all 4 of them give me this weird glance(like a what's THIS guy doing driving THAT kind of car? type look.) so, I decide to try and shut them up and put them in their place. I let them get about 2 cars ahead of me and I shift down with my sportronic to 3rd(I'm going about 68-70 at this point) I slam the gas and let my Intake howl when the VTEC kicks in, and fly past them at 120. I slow down to about 80 once I'm 3 cars ahead. This caught their attention so they decide to be obnoxious again and ride my bumper like crazy.
Once we get another open stretch, they try and act all cool by pulling out to the other side of the road from behind me and flooring it. I get pissed cause they still haven't learned their lesson, so I speed up again and easily overpower them. They get pissed, ride my bumper again, and almost cause an accident when they try to pull ahead of me.(there was a slow moving vehicle on the right side of the road, I was in the left lane, going about 80 again, following a van going about the same speed with about 2 cars distance in between us. They try to pull out and speed ahead of me but swerve back into my lane and almost hit my bumper when they see the slow moving vehicle.)
I decide that I've had enough and wasn;t gonna waste my time or engine abuse on their stupid shit, and let them pull ahead...they zoom off without looking at me(feels great to get stomped, don't it you frat boy wannabes?), and they drive off going at least 100 something(I'm going 80 still)
Stupid fuckers...It wasn't exactly a challenge(100 something HP versus 200-205) but I just had to put them in their place. People like that piss me off.

On the other hand...I saw some damn nice cars on the way up. Saw a mint condition Red Acura NSX on the opposite side of the highway, passed a Volvo S40, and a pretty nice Acura 3.2 TL-S:yes:

you shouldnt have wasted your time in the first place. if this was the berreta we saw in town yestarday the white one? its well not worth racing them.

but i guess congrads on beating a car that had no chance.

I know I shouldn't have wasted my time. It was just that they were pissing me off and I wanted to mess with em. And no, it wasn;t the car that we saw in town yesterday.
Also, I figured my car had 195 HP stock, and the Intake adds about 5-10 usually, right? I guess I could be wrong...I was just going based on what I've read.

intakes add like 1-5.....

yeah they really dont...lol i put my aem intake in my car thinking its going to give me all this power and i was like wtf? lol it did jack shit..nothing noticeable..but hey that was back when i didnt know shit

hence why my baby is still stock.. Money is tight for a college kid like me with 45Grand in med bills... but when i do get some money.. i think i want something quality...

I get people like that all the time, expecially with the van... man do they get pissed off ;) I usually waste my time with anything that bites on the van, i mean, it's a rusty maroon 1989 caravan....

I don't think I would've even wasted my gas on a Beretta fully loaded with dumbass punks. Then again I have raped a Tiburon, a riced Civic, etc. It's all about the attitude of the person in the other car. If you show them what you've got and they still want some, kick their ass. Oh...and an "intake" (I assume you mean a metal pipe with a filter on it rather than a real intake manifold) doesn't really do shit. Don't believe advertising hyperbole.

You betcha.... 19psi in a carvan is frigin sweet ;) FMIC, 2.5" exhaust, best run of a 14.7 with a terribly slow 60' time... but we won't talk about that....
