Headers
So i need some help with making a decision, i want to get headers, so do I go ceramic or stainless?...what would everyone else go with?
ps - don't worrry stefan i'll go through you for em, so help me make my decision bro |
I'm running the DC ceramic 4-2-1 and they've held up very well. They're a little scraped up where I hit the ground with them, but other than that they've been great. I think I've had them for about a year+.

no problems with cracking yet?
|
My powertech header which is ceramic coated and 4-1, are rusting pretty bad after about a year. Also consider that I live in PA and have to drive the car in the winter.
|
fortunatly florida has NO snow so i think i've made my decision, 421 ceramic
|
good choice. now which brand did you decide on?

No cracking, and I spend a lot of time on the Oregon coast (rust heaven)... no rust, etc. either. |
I have Airmass......
|
i live in VT and winters here suck ass so i'm going with a stainless one. It all depends on where u live and how the weather is there. If you dont see salt then i would think a ceramic would be fine, but i live in salt state so i'm gonna go with SS

DC Sports are always great for hondas. My old accord had them and they worked just fine. Don't expect a HUGE power gain out of them though...it probably won't be very noticeable until you get the exhaust work completed. At least that's how it was with my car.

plus from stefan they're incredibly cheap:yes:
