OK..I want performance for $500-$600

I have 97 Accord LX (stock)
Recently bought an Injen Air Intake with K&N Air Filter
Now if I'm willing to invest 500-600 more buckaroo to boot the performance...then what should i get next?
I'm thinking about the I/H/E method. I dont wanna race or anything but a little more power to the car would be nice

Well like you said.. I/H/E. I is done, so move on to H.

Or save up and get a small nitrous kit.
;)

I think that you should go with the I/H/E personally, since you said you won't be racing, a NOS kit dosn't seem practical. You almost never use it, atleast without the fear of blowing your engine.

i agree with the I/H/E it is your best bet man

ebpda9 02-25-2002 05:26 PM

get an exhaust and then the headers.

Accord Man 02-25-2002 05:31 PM

Actually I'd get a high flow cat before anything else.

Badcar22 02-25-2002 05:47 PM

ok thats cool but not what u said a minute ago:D

Accord Man 02-25-2002 07:34 PM

hondaman-iac's statement made me realize/remember it..

NonVtecHonda 02-25-2002 08:50 PM

ok..well...i'm moving on the the Exhaust...so..what am i getting for exhaust? just the muffler? or the whole pipe?

Since you said you want a little more power, you'll need a cat-back. If you want to save money, just buy a muffler and get custom 2.25" mandrel bent piping to it.

Yes they are great.

My choice would be a Greddy EVO.
