Installed my Typhoon air intake!!
Yay! It looks good. Its a K&N Typhoon with the filtercharger. ran me 140 bucks. The instructions were good, and it only took me a few hours. Unfortunatly the saddle bracket wouldn't work because the filter wouldnt clear the hood line. I hope it wont make a huge difference. It sounds like I have no muffler, except its up front. Its cool though, ill post pictures when I get em developed.

do u have like a heat shield over the filter ? and yeah post some pics.

no I dont. Is it vital? nobody told me this! The filter isn't next to anything that could get incredibly hot, except the battery. What do you suggest?

it's under the hood and things there get hot enough. i would suggest something that will separate the airfilter from the rest of the engine compartment like kevlar or some sheet metal
