Seriously. I bought green bananna's today from the grocery store. They taste funny. Am i going to die?

Derek...how do you live to be as old as you are and not know that green bananas just aren't ripe yet? :D Was it all crunchy, too? Unripe bananas are just gross.

You won't die but you'll get a horrible taste in your mouth.

That's the best part about bananas.. They are one of those foods that never really go bad. Yes, if they are unripe or to ripe they taste like shit but they won't harm you.

Just FYI, Bananas rippen faster in the heat. If you want to keep them more solid for longer put them in the fridge once they are ripe. They will still turn brown, but they will not get soft and mushy and still taste fine.

Holy crap do they taste like shit and leave this odd film in my mouth. So that's how a chick feels?

To make them ripen faster put them in a paper bag with an apple and roll the top of the bag shut.

what kind of hippie stuff is that? we always just hung them and left em out in the kicken hanging and they turn in a day or 2..
