Pistons played like crap this afternoon and Im just as pissed as Rasheed looked the whole game

Wow, a sports topic in this forum, finally!!!

I love Lebron, but I also love the Pistons. Pistons are gonna get it in 5 and we all know that, chill out pdiggs :).

I know they'll get it in 5...and I do like Lebron, but hes damn near unstoppable (witness)
But I do love how he completely acknowledges the skill of the Pistons, relating them to the transformers and saying that they were not at all ready for them after game 1.

Still.....I have to hate him right now!

im pullin for the suns to take it all... although i think the spurs will do it just because of how well rounded they are. im glad the kobe's didnt advance.. i thought they had it when it was 3-1 LAL back in round 1 althgough LAL v. LAC would have been a great series. as for the east... i'd have to take the heat to win over pistons more cause i wana see wade make it to the finals early in his career. same thing for lebron but i dont think this is his year.

sun have a huge chance to take it all.

lebron did show he can work with his team instead of do it all by myself. so they could squeek out this series.

kinda crappy that Sheed couldnt play the majority of the game. I think that if Sheed played instead of Dyse, the Pistons wouldve won by 5-10

The Spurs look defeatable..

Not trying to make excuses, but Sheed barely played at all - just a few agonizingly poor plays and missed 3s as he hobbled up and down the court, behind everyone else.
Honestly, I thought a lot of the Cavs played well (even that prat with the fluffy afro had some decent ones). It didnt really pick up speed until the last few mins of the 4th..but thats piston's basketball.
Im looking forward to the game at home...might try to find some tickets

wow, that Suns-Clippers game 5 was amazing!

But you know what I hate about NBA broadcasts...especially playoff basketball, near the end of the game, every single play warrants a timeout that takes you to 5 commericals. God I hate that!

its not the broadcast, its that a game is won in the last few mins almost every time. you can stay in the game and being within 6 points or so with 2 mins left then buckle down on defence and see what you can do, but the coach wants to talk about it and make sure everyone is doing what they are supposted to be doing. also it kills the momentum of the other team. believe me one of the teams would be pissed if they took a TV timeout with 30 seconds left in the game. cant do it

It IS the broadcast chris..maybe I didn't state it clearly enough, I'm annoyed with the commercials, not the timeouts. If they clue me into whats happening on the sidelines or even the crowd during those time periods, I'm perfectly fine.

the NBA is looking into the end-game situations, rumors are they will change the rules to decrease the number of time outs in the last two minutes starting next season.

I cannot even begin to imagine a Mavericks vs. Heat finals. If the Cavs get done with the Pistons with their luck, there is no way they can get past the Heat. I hate the Mavericks, but I absolutely dread the Heat. No incentive to watch the Finals this year :(...this June will be unusually boring.

I seriously am amazed by the Cavs. At least Dyess came out and got some nice points and played CRAZY ball in the 4th...he was really out for blood, and it showed. I hope he plays at least half the game on friday...

And yeah, Heat vs Cavs would be horrible.

Well, it looks like the Spurs are well on their way to their summer vacation...it's only half time but the game pace is playing out exactly like games 2 3 and 4, all Dallas wins.

all i can say is i love the playoffs.. cavs.. mavs... no one would have guessed unless its their teams.

that was a ending... i was getting all excited then.. well you saw those 3 offensive boards in the last 30 seconds by detriot. as for lebron im pretty sure he was driving the ball to pull the defence then throw it outside cause he got fouled while passing not going for the dunk. the guy(forgot who was out there already) out in the corner had 8-10 ft before the closest blue shirt.

now its time for the spurs to face elimination... back to the tv

Mark Cuban sure bought out those refs good for this game. I wish I am rich..

ehh... nothing really seemed that bad of calls, the spurs had to play very tight to hold on and they did. remeber how easy it is to foul in the nba, and when you have to play tight D then you run the risk of fouling even when they are crossing mid-court. the refs just called everything. maybe one of duncans first half fouls was questionable, but dirk did take him off the dribble and forced him to foul to try and defend the play. he was just at the basket with his hands up, and knocked one of dirks arms... nba foul. if anything i saw one traveling call i would have let slide, because his feet did mid dribble which is a travel according to the text book, so you cant really give the refs beef. at half time the mavs did have more fouls than the spurs, remeber that. its just the mavs went at duncan, bowen, horry, and ginobili, forcing them into foul trouble

its gonna be the preseason final 4 now. suns vs. spurs and pistons vs. heat. oh well... i thought we might see something new this year.
