What's your next vehicle?!

alright ladies and gentlemen,
ya'll know you've already thought about it. What would your NEXT vehicle be? yes, once you sell your prelude and move on, what would you have in mind?

I would think about a 350Z in blue or perhaps a wrx sti.

buuuut that won't be for awhile
after the prelude will most likely be a 03 Yamaha R6

a96710 08-22-2005 11:00 PM

I got one already...sittin in my driveway waitin for me to sell the Civic. Once I sell that thing...it's mine. It's a 95 5 series BMW

Grip72 08-22-2005 11:03 PM

u sob!@@

ebpda9 08-22-2005 11:17 PM

mine is gonna be a 2.5 legacy gt:yes: awd and turbo, and just a few mods away from a wrx sti

Grip72 08-22-2005 11:18 PM

well to each his own i guess

a96710 08-22-2005 11:24 PM

I've seen the new ones in person...I like em and now that they're turbo'd....

ebpda9 08-22-2005 11:25 PM

yup, 250 hp thru an exhaust that looks just a tad bigger than a straw. imagine a full 3" exhaust on it. i think it would release at least 30 more hp

ChrisCantSkate 08-22-2005 11:26 PM

i always wanted an is300

Indeed. I've always liked those things. That...or I'll save up my money and in 20 years I can afford an '07 Ford GT500.

IALuder 08-23-2005 12:41 AM

i do believe ill try to save fora RX-7 Turbo II or a S2K. might try and find a MR2.

Mischief 08-23-2005 01:11 AM

300ZX TT or an AWD DSM

Racing Rice 08-23-2005 09:08 AM

I dont have any idea... There are the wants.. Then there is reality.

I want a WRX or a 350Z, but I probably won't get either because I'm a cheap ass and like not having a big car payment.

AzCivic 08-23-2005 12:07 PM

either a diesel powered Mercedes so I can run biodiesel or a Hybrid car modded with extra batteries and a plug in option so i can charge it up off the solar electricity my house will be running off of which will allow for around 100mpg or more.

then for the weekends, a turbo'd Viper or vette.

AkimboStylee 08-23-2005 12:22 PM

Well i went out today and just for shits and giggles, i applied for the loan and guess what:

(not my bike, just a photo from the internet of the bike i got, AGAIN I REPEAT THIS IS NOT MINE!!!!!)
its sitting in my driveway as i type, there is no better feeling about having a bike between your legs and doing 75 down the interstate, it just feels so free!!!! oh and the bike was 8480 after financing, and it costs me 92 bucks amonth, and 15 dollars is a full tank at 62MPG(im pussy driving it, cause its my first bike and im scared shitless, i was riding back from the dealership and got hit by a f'ing dragon fly, and i almost had to change my shorts.)

for those of you that have bikes, know of any good online gear shops? im looking for a matching jacket, gloves, and a helmet (i have loaners from the dealership, and they want thier shit back!!!!)

Mischief 08-23-2005 02:36 PM

http://www.kneedraggers.com/

They have TONS of merchandise.

Grip72 08-23-2005 03:38 PM

like it says under the photo, it's not his bike it's just a picture he found on the internet

Wren57 08-23-2005 07:18 PM

Within the next 2 years I'm gonna buy a beater truck then when I get out of college I'm gonna treat myself to a 1996 Supra TT... keeping the 350z though (since it's paid off)... gonna strip the Z down and have it be a dedicated road course car while I build up the supra... :smoking:

ChrisCantSkate 08-23-2005 07:37 PM

^ no no no bad. keep the 350z for the street car, its gonna ride alot better than the supra for street driving. strip and build the supra for track.. at elast thats what i'd do.

oh and it looks like i might be getting my car within 6-8 months ;)

Grip72 08-23-2005 08:33 PM

chris..what are u getting?

i hate you highlander....damn rich spoiled kids

/end rant/jealousy

ChrisCantSkate 08-23-2005 09:09 PM

is300... that im paying for

Mischief 08-23-2005 09:50 PM

awwww shit nice chris... and sounds like lots of fun / money highlander. I'm hoping to pick up an AWD DSM within the next year if I can sell my car soon.. Nearly 400 a month for car payment + insurance sucks when you make about 600 a month

AkimboStylee 08-24-2005 12:19 AM

well i just rode to and from school (82 miles each way) and my ass hurts like a mother fucker, but the ride was fun and scarey

it was scarey because i got pulled over and i dont have a motorcycle endorsement and the cop just told me that i was riding really safe, and that he hasn't seen to many people ride like that, and that i should really get the endorsement because the next cop that pulls me over wont be so nice!

it was fun because i have never felt anything like it before, riding 70 miles an hour and feeling the wind

dabouncerx24 08-24-2005 12:30 AM

Well after I'm done with my Integra LS, I'll probably go back to automatic, yea, weird right? Probably a 350Z/G35 automatic. If suddenly I changed my mind and decides to keep a stick, WRX/S2000/next gen Civic SI (I find it hot).

I never found it all that special...and I've done 120 in my car with the T-tops off. *shrug*

Grip72 08-24-2005 12:43 AM

^ do you always piss on people's expressions? why are you even on a honda board?

Wow. How...uncalled for. Merely stating an opinion. Sorry if you don't like it, but lucky for me I don't particularly care what you think. So in that regard, everyone wins.

The answer to your question is a long and complicated one. The short and sweet version is that I'm just plain better than you. If you want to over analyze any of my posts...go ahead. In that event, refer to my not giving a shit as listed above. If that's a problem, I suggest you sodomize yourself with a retractable baton.

Being surrounded by metal and glass is nothing like a motorcycle. You will NEVER get the same feeling out of riding in a car that you will riding on a bike.

Akimbo, I sent you a PM.

ChrisCantSkate 08-24-2005 08:22 AM

^ exactly, 60mph on a bike feels like 100mph ina car... HUGE difference... not even compairable.

Mischief 08-24-2005 03:15 PM

I have to agree.. I've ridden on a bike before and the experience is uncomparable to anything with a car.. T-tops, convertible, targa top.. nothing is the same.

Meh...T-tops are nothing compared to a bike man.

Being in a car is a completely different feeling dude. It's hard to beat riding a bike or sitting in a car. You actually get a feel for the speed.

As for the car. IS300 or a G35. Maybe a Supra..who know.

Grip72 08-24-2005 10:13 PM

gt40fied...i'm just stating that it seems in ALOT of your posts, you have nothing good to say..you kind of come off as having a huge ego and its just gets repetitive

I suppose that would be a valid point...if it weren't a joke 98% of the time.

AkimboStylee 08-24-2005 11:03 PM

steve is here to give his own creative criticsism, and i tahnk him for that, besides if all thought the same way, this would be a boring world!!! but he hsa a point, riding 120 with th t tops off or riding in a convertable is an ahh feeling of its own

i got the p, and order a full jacket and pants, i also ordered one of the hydro packs from another website, cause i get horrible cotton mouth driving to and from school everyday, and i hope this thing works

Indeed. I honestly have no idea what it's like to be on a bike. I never even learned to ride a bicycle. And I'm not about to hop on some guy's bike so I can hold his waist like some chick. It just always bugs me when people with 'verts talk about the wind in their hair and on their face. Big deal. You've still got doors and interior around you. I'm sure it's different on a bike....but bikes were never my thing. If it doesn't have 4 wheels, I'm not paying attention.

Racing Rice 08-25-2005 10:07 AM

Just remember Steve, sometimes its very hard to differentiate between a joking post and a serious one when its in text format. Thats why I like to use smileys so much. People tend to feel a lot less threatened when there is a laughing smiley next to what could be a some what serious sounding post.

With that said.... I can picture it now.. Steve riding bitch on the back to some dudes bike.:D
