Do you guys look into the scripting of the page? Or do it another way?

You have to look at scripting. As you get further into it, you will need to read source files and then force download that file to read it. The code is somewhere in there.

I've beat levels 1,2, 3. Workin on 4 right now....

Thats what I thought.. And was doing.. Got to level 4 and stopped caus it was taking longer to do.

Wow, not bad. I'm not at my computer, but I stopped at level four yesterday. I'll have to keep going now ;)

You'll get it chief. Just remember to view the source and look for filenames referenced within. Then you can type that address into your browser to download the file. Then look at that file for clues, etc. That's a start anyways. :cool:

Yeah, its not really about being a hacker, but more knowing how computer systems and languages work. It helps if you've programmed before. :)

I wanna hack, I just need to know where to start with it. I'm looking at that page, and I don't have a freaking clue what to do from there.:confused:

Well you use notepad. You do look at some source code, but not the page's code. Perhaps something on the page?:yes:

i downloaded the cab file they had on the sorce page from macromedia, i dont think i needed to do that tho, i read it, and couldnt figre it out, im just not good at his stuff i guess.

Just keep looking at referenced files :P

i dunno bot on some java pages the username will be the page name and the pwd the file name Anyway i don't have time to mess with it to much. 10 more minutes and i take off for work.

woohoo, i figured out how to do this shit now, im on lvl 5, my dads laptop dosnt have winzip, so im dling it now before i move on.

You guys want to give me a hand with level 5? I got a decompiler and it seems to be acting all weird. What did you guys do?

lvl 5... decompile it, find one of the files you can use notepad for..... go from there.. if you NEEED more help, get ahold of my on AIM, im not gonna ruin it here for anyone else :P

Quick question, what decompiler did you use? Mine's acting up...

um, i dont remember, it was 3:30 in the moriing on my dads laptop, it took me a little bit to figure out how to use it(the decompilar)

I took a year of computer science too. Didn't help at all I guess.:no:
