Just trying to hit 350 at the wheels for now. I want to build my internals too. My goal is to have a low 12's to high 11's on the 1/4. I would settle for 13's until I get a house tho. Plus once I hit 13's, I will get my interior redone and have the car repainted to either mustang green or FBP. Not to mention that I also want some Tein SS or Ground Control "Full" coilovers. How's your project coming along?
|
UPDATE:
-ordered Hondata S200 with boost -got the turbo manifold modified to compensate my EGT probe -added two more brackets to make sure that my manifold stays strong -more shit to follow  |
Oh man, you're going all out on this one  Good luck with it!

Thanks man. The teg should be boosted by late this month or early next month. I sold my Motegi MR7's and used the money to get Hondata. Rockin' the steelies baby!!!! ha ha ha..

Thanks mang  |
Received the profec-B and Hondata S200b. Too cold to work on my car. need another heater for my garage. The Teg will be on a jackstand next week to commence install. I will take my sweet a$$ time tho. No need to hurry. Snow on the ground anyway. my civic is running strong. Clutch still bad and AFC still not tuned... shit.. i need more funds.....
|
Quote:
go get another credit car and max that one out...by then you should have enough funds... ;) and you can finally celebrate! :drunk: |
Quote:
LOL.... I called my CC company. I told them to raise my limit...lol |
yay ! for arnel. keep us posted. mine will soon commence. all i need is injectors and the piping
|
Okay, I sold my tube and fin 31x10x2.6 custom intercooler since I picked up a Spearco 30x10x3 bar and plate for only $300! Shit go for over $400 even on ebay .
I also received more GReddy stuff. Since I got ripped off on my GE oil conveter plate, I ordered and received the GReddy version today, along with the GE block guard. I just need to pick up my oil lines locally and shell out another $200 for a cometic 3mm head gasket. Funds are tight. I have to slow down or I will not have money for dyno tuning..... |
Ya you will, it's called a butt dyno.
|

so did they raise it?? if so could you hook me up with a couple hundred dollars? lol ;) |
damn i like where you put your gauges.....nice setup.....cant wait to see the finished product
|

I'm actually thinking of moving the EGT and A/F peak and hold gauges somewhere else. I bought a 60mm GReddy boost gague in black. I didnt want it to sit by itself so I plan on getting another black GReddy 60mm gauge to have a feeling balance. I think I will just place the EGT and A/F ratio gauges below or above my head unit. Thanks for the compliment  |
you suck!
j/k, setup looks awesome now put it all together! |

lol.... i'm trying to man. The Navy is keeping me busy tho......:) |
Your in the Navy. So where you shipped out when we launched against Iraq. If so you got some nice Hazard pay man. Car looks dang good. Keep up the good work. Nice to see someone taking there time and not rushing into things.
|
Yeah... i was there.... that hazard pay is already gone tho....lol... Thanks for the compliment
|
I still cant find time to install the actual turbo parts.... it's okay tho, I'm waitin on the oil lines and another GReddy gauge anyway.
Here are some pics I took today. I've decided to move my EGT and A/F gagues to the center. Boost gague and oil temp will take those two spots: I think that black gagues will work better to match the 2 other black gauges. The silver ones will be in the center: |

LOL...I already have a tach..stock y0!.lol |
Arnell, you better hit me up bro!
Your young paduan(sp) needs to learn the ways of the dark side!! Hopefully we'll be doing my install soon....I just need....well ****....pretty much everything...:banghead: Turbo STILL isn't here. I'm giving the dude one more week to have it here. Otherwise I'm getting my money back through paypal. |
those greddy gauges are sexy!! how much did you get 'em for?
|
Got this done today:
Still waiting for a black 60mm GReddy oil temp gauge, which will fill up that hole where the dimmer used to be. I ran all the wires through the firewall already. The boost gague is functional, but only readys vacuum of course until the turbo goes in. The fuel pressure gauge is functioning now as well. |
Commence, Teg turbo install
Well I started the turbo install today.... Have a few problems that I have to solve first. More stuff I had to order to include a slim radiator fan the will be a pusher (mounted on the front of the radiator instead of back). I was planning on pulling of the head off to install the blockguard and cometic head gasket but my buddy could not make it on time. I got excited so I started test fitting the turbo itself. The biggest problem is the turbo and manifold. My manifold will not flange flushed against the exhaust port because of the manifold itself seems a bit too short for a T4 compressor. The compressor is already against the block even after shaving a small area of it. I do have a solution. In order for me to make the set up fit, I will have to "sandwich" another exhaust flange in between the turbo manifold and the exhaust port. This will push the turbo assembly away from the block about 1/2 inch and have about 3/8 inch clearance. Of course I will also have to upgrade to a longer studs/bolts. I didnt wnat to take a picture until I fix the problem. It's all good tho. I already ordered the stuff I need to fix my problem. This is another week set-back which I really dont mind. i dont want to rush into this and mess up the whole set-up. I'm being patient. Pics to come soon.
In the mean time, friends are always stopping by all the time. I'm mostly doing all this by myself. Alot of people just watch but are willing to lend a hand if needed....... |
keep us updated bro.... i'll have mine soon enough.. ;) can't wait for the pics..
|
Pics!!
|
I have no more room to host pictures.... he he he |
