I am trying to sell the car...anyone interested? As for not that bad...maybe so, but 4 estimates I recieved were in the 4,000's. Make an offer if interested...

dang !! that doesn't look that bad. i guess it's like 2k worth of repairs. i can't see any frame damage there.

4,000 for that?! wow some people want to rape other people when it comes to prices....I can take it to my fathers parking lot and talk to the body shop their, if i get my own hood, fender, headlight and bumper they'll put it on and fix frame for 500 dollars...and no im not lying...if only i had the money for ur civic, how much you want for it?

Its an auto (yeah I know)....NO OFFENSE TO AUTO DRIVERS....Its just that my new car is stick and I was really missing out. Anyway, it also has 123,009 miles. BTW, thanks mylittlecivic. ;)

My family has had 2 cars shipped on truck from Cali to Oregon (similar distance sort of), and its around $600 from the place we used FYI.

Hey. The car runs for about 15 min before it over heats and starts to smoke lightly from under the hood. I was told it does that because of the radiator.

Need to sell ASAP...

yeah thesmoke is normal. looking at your front the radiator should go to heaven.

umm...I've got an idea...I think you'd make a lot more money off that civic if you sell it on ebay...think u'll get more than just 2,000 dollars for it...that way u can have more money to spend on ur teg...:crazy:

I rear ended this one guy. He was cut off by another person and slammed on his brakes, which in turn caused me to slam on mine. I didnt react quick enough. It happened so quickly. The insurance company thinks that the person (I hit) is running an insurance scam...I have yet to hear a follow-up from them:bow:

yeah.. i dunno what body shops you guys goto but parts alone and putting it on the frame machine would be about 2 grand. they will have to weld, new headlight, and whole assembly, the front body will have to be fixed... im supprised it is only 4 grand. mine was 3500 and it didnt loko half as bad.

oh anyother ebay tip... dont put your reserve up or people will low ball you. should have just said "low reserve"

This might be true depending on what prices are in your area. I got very very lucky w/my wreck that my dad owns a shop & will do all this stuff for free.

I dunno. This guy drove by my car, stopped, looked at the damage and told me that he owns a body shop and that he could repair everything for about 2,000. He gave me his card. I plan on giving it to the person who wins my auction though...Hey GirlRacer...how far is Oklahoma from Los Angeles?;) :eek:

Ouch! Damn that sucks! You know...My accident back in sept. 2001 was exactly the same kind of hit..same exact stop on the passenger side barely missing my rim. The damage was $4270. New hood, new headlights new front bumper, new radiator, new side fenders, ..no no lets say it this way..everything was new from the doors forward!
