well for people who dont know. you can join the military when you 16 or older. if your younger then 18 you have to get both of your perants to sign a paper saying they allow you to. when i was 16 my dad told me to join. he is a ex Marine himself. so i did. went to boot camp over last summer.

Actually the minimum age to join the Marines with parental consent is 17...not 16.

either way i joined at the end of april 03 when i was 17. i shipped out to fort penalton in cali were i had my boot camp. that was in the 2 week of june, i shipped out.
