This is Dameon aka D-tuned wiring up my Ignition System (MSD blaster SS amplified by AEM C2Di.

Jic Magic strut bar. From the pix, it looks like not a whole lot was done today, but trust me, I busted my ass all day.
I finished the downpipe. I welded the E-cut, O2 bung, bracket, and scavenge tube. I also painted it with high temp ceramic-base paint. The ignition system is complete, thanks to D-tuned. I hooked up and lock-wired all the vacuum lines for the BOV, boost controller solenoid, boost gauge, WG, FPR, and 3 bar map sensor. I ran and hooked up the solenoid for the N2O intercooler spray. I fabricated all kinds of stuff like hose brackets and blasterSS bracket. I repaintd my calipers black. more shit to follow. I'm out to sea again for a few days. Once I get back, I should be ready to fire this baby up and ready for dyno tuning. |

when did you get new wheels for the civic? And why'd you ditch teh mr7's?? Also how's that B20 holdin up?
I assume the scavange system is for the PCV system? Looking good man, time to call up honda tuning :yes: |

I have a couple more items to get but not related to the turbo set-up. I'm eyeballing some titanium traction bar and EDM ITR black interior. I plan to get the roll cage done in March/April time frame. By then, I need to have all my interior conversion done. |

Well, sometimes plans just dont come together. Today was supposed to be easy. It turned out that I had to do more. I forgot to even include installing my rear disc brakes but that is done now. I also had to pull off the turbo timer and the boost controller out of my civic and get it moved into my Teg. The interior is a big mess but I can fix that later.
I attempted to start the car. I couldnt get it to crank at first. I looked around and found that my fuel pump wasnt even plugged in. It still wouldnt crank. Then I looked around again and found that one of the ground wire wasnt connected. Then I got it to crank... but it wouldnt start. Now, I'm thinking that the MSD and C2Di combo might be the issue. I was too tired to rewire it back to stock nor even mess with the MSD and plug spark. I'll wait till tomorrow for D-tuned to decipher the issue. I also score a Sparco Torino from BlackEJ. Thanks bro. For now, here's a picture. Looks like nothing major was done, but believe it or not, I worked all day for this: |

.... got the car running. The idle is crap since I only have the base Hondata map. I know that my timing is really off too. The car looks awesome!
However I have another problem. My brake system is jacked up for some reason. I bled the crap out of it already. I noticed this problem before the I tore apart my Teg but it was to a minimum. I overhauled my brake system already. I changed all the rubber lines with steel braded, replaced the rotors, and replaced the booster. Could it be that the ABS system needs to be looked at? I'm going to bleed it off some more. The system was "open" for a long time anyway while I was upgrading the rotors and lines. |

I've always had it. It's just that it looked really beat up. When my car got painted, the shop went ahead polished and redid the clear coat. It looks brand new.

I raised the front suspension about an inch just to get used to this ride again. I was also able to figure out the problem with my brakes.... it was a stupid mistake:od....... I also mounted the Sparco seat, which by the way kicked my ass. Never buy the rails from Weapon-R. I didnt know that it was from them, otherwise I would've bought a different brand. I could've fabricated that shit myself for less than I paid for and come up with a better product. I was so disappointed. I welded the last piece of pipe for my 3 inch exhaust. All I did was eliminate the cat with a 3 inch flex pipe mated with a 3 inch Thermal (of course) cat-back. The car sounds mean but kind of loud. I guess I'm just not used to loud cars anymore. I gotta get this car tuned on the Dyno very very soon. So I took the Teg for a ride last night. Just 2 laps around the block. I slowly gave it gas on second gear. This SC61 is just different from any other turbo set-up I've ever driven..... it scared the fuk out of me. I didnt expect it to hit hard. I hit "boost cut" so quick that I couldnt react fast enough to let off the throttle and look at the boost gauge. I'm gonna try again during the day where I can actually see the road...... |

:od .... I felt so dumb bro. SOrry to get you to thinking... he he he.... I really fuk up small shit like this. I bled the brakes wrong. I started from the closest caliper to the farthest. I also bled it like the way I bled off my clutch.... pump until it gets hard then open the bleed port.
So I got a little smart. First I rigged a hose from the bleed port to a can full of DOT-5. I ensured that the hose is submerged in the fluid. Then I cracked open the bleed port. I slowly pumped the pedal about 5-8 times. Then I retightenend the bleed port, checked the reservoir, and add fluid as necessary. I did this to all corners and I immediately noticed the difference after the second caliper.....:smoking: lol:D |

I'm picking up an AEM EMS 2morrow. My buddy D-tuned found a great deal. It sux cuz I just paid $280 for an MSD digital 6+. Good thing I still have my AEM C2Di. I just DL'd the tuning program to my laptop. If everything goes smooth, I should be driving around on a street tuned EMS Teg 2morrow. Selling my Hondata S200b stuff/OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness/P28 ECU socketed and MSD digital 6+............... |
