ITR's arent that fast. At the track I have seen a stock ITR run a best of 14.7 and average from 14.8's to 14.9's consistantly. My all motor D16Z6 ran a 14.8. go figure.

Because ITR's power is designed for top end anyway, autocross style. I do agree tho. The fastest stock or I/H/E ITR that I've seen is 14.5. What have you done to that Z6?

Honda_Tengoku 01-13-2004 03:42 PM

no internals.

I/h/e and an LSD and of course all on Z rated street tires. Thats it as far as the engine and tranny. The car also weighed 1960 pounds at the track (severe weight reduction). This is also my autocross car. Believe it or not its all motor with no internals!

Hope to see your Civic and eventually your teg get tuned. They should be eventually be wasting alot more than ITR's!

BTW my friend (about 6 months ago) ran a modified WRX (14 pounds of boost and an exhaust) with his '97 Prelude type S (T3 turbo, 7 pounds of boost, drag radials, adjustable cam gears, exhaust). He stomped the WRX pretty bad. He walked away pretty hard. Not too bad I dont think. Should be a mid 13 second car alteast until he blew a ring out a few months later.
