I got the Accord Si tranny. It was $100 cheaper, and it is geared for a little better launch then the Lude.

We did not tear the old tranny apart, but we think it was the TQ convertor that was shot. Hopefully I will be sending the other tranny to Level 10 in the next couple of months for a rebuild.

Do any of you guys have pics or any info on the Type-W lip for 96-97 Accord?

I looked all over and couldnt find anything.

If you look at my thread in the Shifting Gears Forum entitled Premier Compacts Nopi Coverage, you will see a Green Accord. It is a 96 with the W-Type. It looks just like the one for the 94-95.

Log on to WingsWest.com and go to the bodykit section. You can find the price for the 96-97 2door/4door 4cyl/V6 kits.

The weakest point for the 4th gen accord are the cv joints...lots of problems with them.
