Dont buy from?

What do you guys think of a place.. Maybe just a sticky, of dont buy from These people cause you will get ripped off. I know If Im buying something on Group Buy Center or Ebay, I like to know what kinda person/people Im buying from online. I know there are probably a lot of us that have had good or bad deals, I just thinking we could put something somewhere so if something happens then other people can be aware of it for thier protection.

I was kinda worried about getting screwed with my gauges when I ordered them off the net...luckily after I bought them and they arrived at my house. I was happy.:|

*L* Exactly... Its nice to know if you order something from someone/a shop then you can get good service and whatever you ordered in a timely manner. Just like last week I ordered a swaybar from a place out in Cali. they were doing pretty good about answer my emails to get me prices and stuff but now I have placed my order he wont return any of my emails and I havent seen anything yet. Now Im gonna have to call long distance and try to talk to someone to see whats going on. Stuff like this gets old after a while.:rolleyes:

yeah that would be great and all, but soon enuff the page would be full with every shop out there. Every shop makes mistakes, some on purpose, other accidentally. But somebody always hates somethin someone else loves

True.. and a lot of stuff isnt the shops problem but the problem of the shipping companys, mail, etc.. I was actually meaning it for people that have been scammed by a certain shop like took their money and never heard from them again type thing, or for example you order "JDM" parts that arent JDM at all. Or certain sellers on say ebay or something. I didnt mean for it to be a gripe area where you gripe about every little thing that went wrong with your order like it took to long, or they werent very nice.. Nothing like that.. Im talking about theives and scammers.

I've heard from many people that assylums.com is a place to stay away from. I haven't had to deal with them, but from what I've heard, you're lucky if you get your product on time or at all. I know some people don't like them, but...

The thing about asylumms is they are hard to get through to if you need to get someone. Almost any place that ships from one side of the US to the other will take a while (usually 5-7 working days) If you order something big like a bodykit it will come buy a truck across the country so it will take even longer. I wouldnt really say, asylumms is a bad place. You just have to think about where they are shipping from and to. It took me 2 weeks to get 2 bodykits from Asylumms. I dont think Id call that bad service. Ive had a ton worse thats for sure. I prefer to order from people on the East Coast since I live on the East Coast. I will usually get stuff in 2-3 days tops. Just something to think about when you order stuff from someone.

Yeah, but I've heard worse stories than slow shipping from assylums. I'm also a member of PH, and there have been some horror stories posted there over the last couple of years. Oh well... anyone else???

BAD experience buying from JC WHITNEY.. i ordered a macpherson strut spring compressor w/ safety hooks and i got a coil spring compressor (goes inside the spring where the stut is)
i called them up they said they would send me a prepaid stamp so i dont have to pay for shipping coz its their mistake.. i waited a month and it didnt arrive.. i called them again, all they said was they would send me another one..finally it arrived in almost 2 wks.
i sent the package back right away and waited another month 1/2
and the new package came... guess what? it's the WRONG ONE again... i was pissed, i called and i ask them: "why the hell cant you get it right? i mean, the part number was there and it was the right one, the picture shows the right part, why are you making these mistakes? as usual, he gave me bunch of BS... he said he was gonna send me another prepaid stamp and it has been a month now and im still waiting... im gonna cancel this freakin order and take my money back.. we're talking about more than 4 months here just for one stupid package...
u might have had a good experience w/ them but i sure DIDN'T... :mad:

Has anyone ordered from NRG-Racing.com??? I ordered my swaybar from them.. Its been over a month and still havent seen it... When I can get ahold of them, the keep telling me they are waiting on the mounting hardware from Skunk2.. (Box got ripped when it was sent to them and all the hardware got lost, or so they say.) Most the time I dont get anyone when I call. I not to happy with the Service at all.
