ok so I took off my emblems (both Accord and EX)
but because the car is a 96, the adhesive is really thick and I am having a tough time removing all of it from the car, so I have a nasty patch where the emblems once were
I finally got the EX glue stuff off but the Accord part is giving me a hard time..
any tips or tricks ??

cool I will try to remove the Accord emblem.......hehe when my car was fixed stupid people put it on the wrong side...above the left light in the back.........but I got no LX emblem at all hehe......never did

You can see what I am talking about by going to my cardomain.com page....look at the second picture of the car from the top....

use a hair dryer to heat the adheasive, then it should come right off

Ummmmmm I took off my emblembs on my old car before. The BEST way I can think of, which is the way I did it was. Go to Staples. And buy those Polymer Erasers. They're just those regular erasers that are used to erase led. Use that and just erase the ish out of the glue. It worked for me. Another thing you might have a problem with is that the area where the emblem was will not be shiny anymore. Just throw on some polish and wax and it'll be fine.

NICE DJ NAME BTW.
I'm at 5 year veteran to DJing. I'm 18 now.

When I took my emblems off, I took a credit card and gently just scraped it off and then I waxed with Mother's caranuba cleaner wax and then put the Mother's showshine over it. Good stuff. It's best for in between waxing.

I used that Goo Gone stuff as much as I possibly could and it still didn't take it off, I mean this stuff was crusted onto the body, rigth now I just painted over it and it looks decent, ill just deal with it unti I get a new paint job, ill try the hairdryer idea, and whatever else, thanks for all the help

I'm telling you...try to gently get a credit card underneath that stuff. That's what I did.

WD-40 works good for loosening sticky junk too.
