Ok I don't know too much about the audio stuff so I am here to ask some questions hehe.......
I want to upgrade my stock sound system....but I don't want no big box in my trunk....
Would it be a good idea to just change my stock sepeakers and to get a 4 channel 400 watt AMP?? I just want it to sound little bit better but not too loud....
oh and what type of speakers and amp do you recommand??
Help a n00b out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

hey...watz up?...well if you want to change your speakers I would go with MBQuarts, Inifinty, or Pioneer...I prefer MBQuarts more...as for an amp i would go Sony or Rockford...juss my 2cents...;)

I run Boston Accoustic components in my front and Boston coaxles in my rear and I've been pretty happy with em. For an amp I run a JL 300/4. For brands...it really depends on how much you wanna spend

my shop sells a bunch of different brands.. kenwood excelon, pioneer, memphis, jl, kicker, eclipse, and mbq.. so i get to listen to a broad range of systems and designs.. and id have to say that jl and quart would have to be tops on the list of loudspeakers we sell.. if i had to choose tho, it would prolly be JL, there 3way component set is absolutely amazing.. the quarts seem a bit tiny and the tweets are harsh, compared to the JL's.. JL also makes amazing sub woofers and amps... i think it was CA&E that did a review on the 300/2 and said it was one of the cleanest amps they have seen in a while.. while the W7 is an excellent sub.. it needs massive amounts of power.. when we called the rep about doin this huge system we are currently workin on ( 4 12W7 and 4 1000/1 in an H2 ) he recommened one optima yellow top battery for each 1000/1 and 1000/1 per sub.. now thats some serious power! Anyway, if you stick with the W6v2 youll be fine, they sound amazing and dont need nearly the amount of power the W7 needs.. and you can go with a 500/1 per 12.. or pair of 10s.. JL has very clean amps and they have great sounding loud speakers..just my .02 :D

Wee, if anyones interested I'm selling my Focal Polyglass 6 1/2" components for $150 or the best offer. I never got to listen to them because I changed ideas on what to do with them. Focal is high end stuff...right now I'm waiting for my Utopia 3-way components to come in. Accomidations RULE!!!! Paying $420 for a set 0f $1600 speakers. Man I wish we carried Rainbow...dealer cost would probablly still be like 2 grand for that Referance set. But yeah, if you're after great sound...definetely MB Quart, Focal, Dynaudio, and Diamond Audio.
