I got a ticket the other week too....but mine im sure is different. Mine was because of my school with misleading parking signs. My car is not regestered with central (my school) so i park in visitors. No body wants to visit my school so students took it over. Anyway, the have like 4-6 visitors parking spots and the last two are what got me. Now im not one to "toot my own horn" so to speak but i think im a logical thinker. The last two parking spots are marked Handicap in the first and a No Parking in the last and next to the no parking and a BIG yellow triangled off spot. Now if you were marking the signs wouldnt you have put the handicap in the last so they could open the right door(usually place with wheel chair lift and the like) all the way open instead of using the last two for nothing? It turns out that the ****ing ticket is gonna be 105.85$. BUT the real kicker is that the car i had that day, when the cop ran the plates, came back in my moms name....boy was she hot she went  :paranoid:   because that the plate came back in her name.....

my ticket was for doing 50 in a 35. but i had just pulled out of my house and then i was pulled over shortly later (like 2 minutes later) but on the citiation, from where he clocked me, i would have had to be really pushing my car. i mean like shifting at 6.5grand. as for my record, 1 year driver, no offences. this is my first.

you will get off easy with it if it's the first one. my first one was a 47 on 25 and i got a 35 ticket and 55 court costs. summ it up to 90. No points either. the best thing to do is plea no contest, and if the judge ask you to say anything in yoyr defense you can say something if u want tbut the best thing is to keep your mouth shut.

I just say if you were speeding, whether it was 35 over or not, you shoud just pay the damn thing and save yourself the trouble of going to court and then paying the fees. I got a ticket last year for 10 over and I knew I could take it in and get it cleared but why bother? Honda-maniac paid $90 for his whole thing and I paid $95 and only sent a check so there was zero work involved. Hell...whats a point here and there?...well its serious if you get more than 5...

yeah i now know how you guys feel. got my first ticket last night. was goin 98 in a 65 but the cop was real cool about it. if your going more then 30 over, its an automatic $400 reckless driving fine, so he was cool about it and only wrote me up for doin 94. was a stupid ass thing to do but ill be under court supervision and no points.

well, my hearing is tomorrow. i figure if i don't win, i'll pull a DE NOVO TRIAL. which is basicly re-appealing it. i tired to get some information on the rader gun and when it was last calibrated, but the guys over at the record storage are being real jerks about it. i've had to send the letter in twice so far cause they nit pick at it so they don't have to send me the information. so i figure, i loss, i have photo evidance. cause were he said he clocked me was pretty crowded by trees, i mean crowded! and that whole speal with the letter. i'll tell ya how i do. and i'll be the sharp-dressed man tomorrow : )

well, i won. i think i lucked out big time. cause the cop said "well, this is his first offence, plus he lives right next to that road, he must drive it everyday to go to work and school. i think everyone should get a second chance" then the clerk was like "okay, not responsiable."
i didn't even say one word.... amazeing.....

ya, i've been doing strictly the speed limit since i've gotten that ticket. i think it'll be even harder for me to do the speed limit once i drop a better motor in. just cause i know i finally have more then 106 horsepower pulling my green machine =)
