Hey guys, I posted this in the newbi section but thought I would post it here too.
Will the spindles and rack & pinion swap out between a 91 Prelude and an 89 Prelude?
Also can a V-tec head be swapped onto the 2.0 SI motor in the 91?
Thanks for the info
Andy

im not sure about the rack and pinion, i dont see why not, they are the same generation though. the 2.0si is a b20 motor. but not the same b20 that is used for all the performance engines, its not built as strong, its 80's honda technology, not the late 90's b20. if your looking for performance, a b18c1 would probobly be your best bet. its the gsr motor. you COULD do a h22 swap, but its going to be the same as putting one in a integra

and its vtec not v-tec no "-" or "h" at the end.

Cool, thanks for the info. I was thinking that the heads would not swap but better to know than to guess.

a b-series MIGHT swap, but it would be cheaper and more reliable to just get a b18 longblock.

Me and a buddy are building the car for auto-x so torque is always welcome, out thinking is that the larger displacement of the 2.0 would give us a little more torque than the b18. We are deffinately in the market for some bolt ons like headers, exhaust, intake that sort of thing if you guys could point in the right direction it would help. I have not been able to find alot of stuff for the pre 92 ludes (sorry don't know the generation #'s ;) )
Thanks for the warm welcome and the info.
