Yep, I'm 230 dollars lighter, not to mention about 200 dollars worth of towing. I had them put on a new timing belt, and correct the actual problem, which was just a screw falling out of the ignition rotor. And I also have loose tie rods..sigh..next check next week.

Its good to have my car back though. It drives differently though, it almost feels like its being held back. It used to go faster when the pedal was down. maybe its cause of the new timing belt? i don't know. maybe I just need to get used to it again.

That's the cheapest timing belt replacement I've ever heard of. Hopefully they really changed it.

Glad you got your car back though!

im not sure what engine is in the 90 si's but from my ecperience the d-serise engines are ALOT easyer to replace belts on than f or h serise

yeah, these guys are really fair, and quick. It's relatively easy, when you have the right tools. And they always do something extra for me too. They fixed my hood! It qouldn't close before, and now it does! yay!

yeah, hondaman you were right. I just really didn't know what I was looking for and had myself conviced it was just the timing.

And my car still feels different. Like it wants to go faster, but can't. Like if I shift into second from first, its almost like I'm downshifting. does this make any sense? And my catalytic is rattling more than it did before. And there is also a burned smell after I get out of my car and have been driving for a while. Its not clutch, but I can't put my finger on it. If I brought it back to them I wouldn't know how to describe what I mean.
