Well congrats on being the biggest ass I have ever met. You even win a prize. Want to know what you won? Here is a clue...

for real dude...
my dad was in the Gulf War and Vietnam...and he's still alive and kickin...
25 years in the Army...
I think we underapreciate vets and need to start treating them better and give them a little more respect...

Exactly... all I was trying to say was thanks in my own way, and you get an ass with a computer... but then again that's why this country is so great. Those veterans make it possible for guys like that to say whatever they want.

My grandfather is a Vet too, along with one of my uncles. I was just messing around. I do agree that if they wouldn't have risked their lives for the US of A then this country wouldn't be nearly as great as it is. I respect the Vets. Just wish they gave us the day off of work... :(

that pic is great. both my mom and my biological sh!thead father were Army Vets. I always stand when the American Flag goes by in a parade. My mom and grandma "trained" me well. And i was very close to joining a branch myself and then opted to go to school right away. The rest of those people on the sidewalk need drop kicked!:rambo:

I saw this somewhere else too and just shook my head in disgust....it's pretty pathetic that the only person that paid respect was the guy in the wheel chair. What pissed me off was how it took the World Trade Center to come down for the people of this country to show some ****ing patriotism....but that didn't last too long, did it???

Yea I wasn't happy about how people don't stand for things like that. But many people just take it for granted.. and I think we all do from time to time. I just thought it was awesome how this 80 something year old is able to stand despite the fact he is in a wheelchair. He has to put forth 100 time the effort that a much younger person needs to in order to pay a little respect. But you also have to look at the fact that he looks at it a little different than most people. Most people have no understanding as to what the flag and the USA means to him.. and that level of respect came from his time in WWII (i assume). One 80 year old I wouldn't mess with =/

people who dont show respect make me sick. My granfather liberated Holland and I have alot of respect for that man.Even though he still had nightmares about it, he stands proud to be Canadian even though my gov't is messing around with my country.
