Police say more than a dozen teenagers are behind a string of car thefts in Salem. Since June, 280 Hondas have been reported stolen in the city.
Tonight investigators have identified 18 high school school students they believe are involved. They attend McKay and North Salem high schools. Two of the kids were arrested early Saturday morning after ditching another stolen Honda and trying to run from officers.
More arrests are expected in the case.
It also said honda accords are the most stolen cars in the country and civics are 5th on the list.
