you want your car to be look good but you dont want it to be slow. youdont want a fast car that looks like crap or a sweet car thats slow as hell. Do both but concentrate in performance.

I'd go show. I couldn't make my car fast to save my life.. unless i swapped and boosted. which is upwards of around 7k or so

i would like to do more go than show but i have problems saving the cash, i end up getting show and a little go when i whould get a little show and alot more go

i think its all personal preference

food for though: for all us part- time workers/ students: we dont exactly have the cash to do the go (unless mommy and daddy are helping which seems to be the shit i see all over the street near my house) we do what we can with what money we have

i dunno though i like both but more respect to the accords with the go

with my situation, more show since it needs it, then its gonna be all go. im the student/ min wage worker type also. That and i'm a legit person, not a dealer making $20`a g.

im all go and mostly show, the only thing that would finsh the show part is a body kit and interior.

I was going mostly show last year cuz I was into the show scene but it kinda got boring now so I'm headed more towards the go stuff...I don't race at all so I probably won't go to extremes but I will be getting it to where I'm satisfied with the power the car has.

thats ironic, you dont race at all but your the prez of concept RACING? Dont take this the wrong way, but it sounds like your either a figurehead or complete b/s. Perhaps you can explain it in a sense i can see. Like $$$ $ign$. but once again, don't take it the wrong way.

First of all I didn't name the club. I've always thought it was kinda strange for our club to be named Koncept Racing when we were mostly a show club. But that's what the founder wanted to name his club. The club isn't all about racing though. It's an enthusiast club.

Secondly what does me racing or not have to do with me being the prez of the club. As president my job is to oversee the business end of our club. I don't have to be a "racer" to do that. I'm president of the club because I am the only one in the club besides the founder (who recently handed me the position of prez because he moved out of the area) who he and the other members felt was able to run the club.

I do understand your question though...I would probably ask myself the same thing if I were you cuz it does sound strange that the prez of Koncept Racing doesn't race.

ebpda9
02-16-2003, 11:31 AM
4000 lbs ? your accord weights in only 3300 from the factory. and beemers you know what solid performers they are and they weight around 4200 lbs (3 series)

ifeldwn02
02-17-2003, 12:49 AM
it would be the GVWR right because mine says GVWR 4035lbs

GAWR F 2185 R 1920

ebpda9
02-17-2003, 01:03 AM
yeah but somewhere around there there is the actual weight of the car which is like 299x for the 4 banger and 33 for the v6

Your car has a curb weight of 3285 lbs. A quick google yielded several pages with the same numbers. Also, that sounds right to me.

im for all go , i like having a sleeper car. more fun. im a toyota guy about to get a 95 accord. Only reason cause im getting a great deal. and i looked at the specifications on the car and its sad except the v6 model. i thought the 2.2 liter would have some decent power. i get my corolla gts to eat that thing. some i heard complain about cost of performance. instead the ae86 corolla gts more fun to drive and more of a track car then accord ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,RWD more fun. tired of this fwd shit!
