well I've been to a number of places in europe. I guess it all depends how much of a culture shock you want. There's nothign like Paris, France but then again I liked Holland aswell.

Normandy, Omaha Beach, France.

Thats a must :\...

Theres always the eiffel tower, the louvre, versailles, et le notredame. Tu n'as pas aller a' Briton et Italie, c'est tres stupide.

Novtec1: Where in Germany are you? Stationed?

I guess where to go depends on where you're capable of going. Ireland has some great places, touring Scotland and hitting some castles and Scotch distilleries is always a blast. Of course England has its share of nice castles.

France, I'd definitely recommend Paris. Of course the aforementioned Tour d'Eiffel, Notre Dame, Louvre and other attractions are good choices. If you're into museums there are other good ones as well, such as Musee d'Orsay.

Germany, it depends on if you want picturesque German alp towns or want to hit the cities to live it up in the nice clubs. For the Bavarian type things you could hit Garmisch-Partenkirchen and hit up the Zugspitze for some mountain fun. Berchtesgaden is a good choice for a neat little town with some good local beers, of course there are plenty of those throughout Germany.

I didn't care much for Italy, especially Venice, but you may enjoy it. I hear Amsterdam is pretty fun but I was a little young to understand much about it. Know what I mean, Vern?

eh my mom and sister wanna go there too...I dont... Well I guess Amsterdam would be a must-go place. Might as well do the typical things too like Paris and the eifel tower, maybe the uk and see the royal stuff, the autobahn (sp) would be fun...thats all I can think of

How have you been liking it over there? I wanna go to Germany again. ;(

I guess before we give you too many answers, perhaps you should share a little of what your interests are. I mean, not everybody digs going to museums and checking out some of the more traditional cultural aspects of foreign countries. Some people just want to meet some locals and throw down or something, or hit the newer high tech type stuff, etc etc etc.
