Man oh man, i've had job offers coming out the ying yang. Anyways, i'm working at this communicatoins place right now and today i had an interview at the GM dealership here. I told him i am looking for a job which pays more than $8 (minimum wage) and he said what would i expect..and i said $10. So now i can 'have the job if i want it. My current job only pays me $8.67, i am like 98% i'm gonna quit my current job, cept its kinda fun..hmm

Ya, but i have an idea of taking a mechanix apprentice so i dunno what to do. Plus working at GM i'd be indoors for winter and at my current job i will be outside sometimes in -30degree celcius weather up on a 200ft tower..not my idea of fun on that aspect...

Leave on good terms at your other job. If the GM turns out to not be as cool as you thought, then you haven't burned your bridges. Working as a mechanics apprentice would be my ideal job. You get paid to learn to work on cars? crap, I do that now for free!

The difference is that you are working on your car. There you work on other peopel's cars who also complain and *****. That's not always easy.

If you're making 8.50'ish. You want a solid job indoors and you like working on cars. The 10$ for the job you speak of sounds great. I on the other hand couldn't make or live off of 10$, but if it works for you, take it.

Go for it dude, if your really into cars you'll be better off doing something that you love then all the people you ask if its a good opertunity that work at something they hate.

Work at what you love and are good at and the money comes to you, and I'm a prime example of that.
