View Full Version : Howdy!
I linked to this forum through http://www.dsmscene.com wondering what is up with that site? Are they trying to build a forum like this over there for DMS's? Anyways... I have a 1G Eagle Talon TSi AWD Turbo... And I am from the Seattle area.

Thanks all for the welcome. Honestly, I was more interested in the DSM side of this site, since I own a DSM. However, I will hang out here for awhile, maybe meet some more NW people...
If you get a chance, stop by a site that I help run, made specifically for NW people... http://www.draglab.com the more members the better!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the DsmScene forums won't be happening. Actually, that site is going buh-bye. We had a brief burst of DSM users in here a while back and gave them their own section to play on... I went ahead and set up their own site for them, but they have since dwindled away....
You are more than welcome to stay here and hang out with us, we're a pretty cool bunch.
Glad you managed to find us.
Chris
That sucks about the DSM site... but with so many out there, I can see how there wouldnt be a huge boom of people on it. I run a site that is based here in Seattle http://www.draglab.com and it pretty much has all the same people on it as the 6 or so other seattle racing sites...
Thanks for the welcome!

Sup dawg. I also linked up here from DSMScene.com and was sent here. oh well. I was wondering how much the 1g dsms weigh. I was looking at them and kinda like em. Would be my second choice. First choice is 97-99 eclipse gst.

Why? Why not go with a GSX? Early Second Gen if you are looking for that ody style... get the AWD with the GSX... waaay better launches. I regularly get 1.6 sec 60' times on the stock motor.

I was thinking about it and think i am, i was worried about their weight because they weigh 3000 something and the gst weighs 2800, but then i realized that it does have better launches which would give me a little boost than a fwd car so i say why not. Besides i will have mods here and there so the weight wont be a problem. I would also have weight reduction.
