I am willing to spend what I need..you know nothing too extreme..i won't be driving in snow or anything...i just want a good reliable suspension ..i was thinking about lowering about 1.5"

if you want it only that low then go with Eibach Springs, but Coilover sleeves might be what you want so if its not low enough you can make them lower.
Make sure you get shocks/struts and put them on with your coilovers. Depending on how low you wanna go depends on which shocks/struts to get. If you dont plan on lowering it more than 2" the KYB GR2's are nice and cheap. Id get Tokico shocks if you have the money though:)

I'm planning on lowering that amount..

EIBACH PROKITS (comfy and performs well)
KYB AGX (adjustable, and all around great performer)

the GR2s suck.. they are meant for oe replacement. nothing more. And no AGX should be on any setup that low.

Tokico is pretty good. But Koni & Bilstein make much better shocks.

I have a Prokit, running on stock shocks and the ride is really nice. Problem with coilovers your going to be bouncing all over the place, and adjusting them are a *****.

Do you know this from experiance?? Do you know people who have bought them and have had htem blow??
I heard they were fine unless you go below a 2" drop.

Let me know because I was thinking of getting them since nopi has them for about 150 for a set.
Thanks.

If you have that cash, you almost have the cash to get true coilovers, which is the way to go.

GR2 plain sucks. Like I said they are oe replacement. They dont even have sufficient travel to accomodate drops (of more than .07-1")..

BUt AGX is good, however not too much lower than 1.5.
Otherwise the warranty is void. This is definately the shock that gives you the most for your money.. Oh you proabably know they're adjustable.. Meaning, much stronger build. Some of my friends are running these with Sport springs, and after 2 years, still no problems. THe only dude who had a problem had his car lowered on race springs, and drives like a mad mofo.

these are facts, not just sotries I read on hondasarecool.com :rambo:

Did you need a camber kit?

Note: KYB AGX is not available for the 6th gen Accords, or at least not last time I checked.

Koni Yellow will be a good bet for the 6th gens, but it is pricey. Tein supposedly makes good true coilovers for the 6th gens (Super Street is the product name), but they will force you to lower at least 1.75" in the front IIRC.

You sure about that? The Tein HAs have a min 1.15" drop. I thought the SS were the same.
