Ok guys, Ive heard a lot lately about how "fast" someones car is, or how someone got burned by a "fast" car... I know we had a thread a while back about what is considered fast, but I thought we should have one on what people actually run at the track and whether or not they think it is fast. I run low 16s depending on track conditions, and I consider that rather slow... its fast for an SUV but slow against anything else... so what do all of you run?

well for me compared to my car i consider that fast..u'd prolly win in a long run race against my inline 4...i think my time is about high 16 or low 17....its all about the power/weight.
I've never actually drove...but i have ridden in some really fast cars...
(viper, vette, audi tt, tt supra, ss camaro, and many others...)
I consider a 10 sec car to be fast...nothing over 10 secs is fast...
a car can be pretty fast or fairly fast though...

I ran 16.98, that was with a good amount of weight in the trunk (system), and a crappy start. I consider that slow. I agree with Mobbo 10 seconds is fast.

haha no sh*t 10 seconds is fast... thats beyond fast, thats blistering... I consider high 11 or low 12 second passes to be fast... and please no excuses about a bad launch or system in trunk... run what you brung... and if u drive with a heavy system in your car on the street you should leave it that way for your times... also a crappy start? If you run a 16.98... no offense, but there is no such thing as a "good start" if its that slow in the first place

I run high 13's. I consider that fast for a honda.

15.527 @ 146.88 km/h (or 91.27 mph).
For an all-motor/computer setup with stock engine and FULL interior + extras and rims. I dont think I can do much better while keeping it a daily driver.
I should trya again with 15" rims and without the toys in the car..
Oh well, lets see what the supercharged Maxima will run.:)

the kick back in the seat feels nice, makes me think i'm in a FAST car. So recently I've been flooring it alot just to get the feeling.
I'd say anything below 6.5s 0-60 is fast, I dont care much for the 1/4mile aslong as its got kick back I'm happy.
