Who all in here likes to bowl? Within the past two months I have really taken akin to it. Went out and bought some decent shoes and a decent ball and have really seen drastic improvement in my game since these purchases. My avg score has gone from about 135 to 175 with the new equipment. Just metering interest in the sport out there and wondering what yall normally bowl.

I don't usually go, but my best ever was a 210. Besides that, I usually go around 150.

I used to bowl for a long time...
like about a year...i was real serious about it...bought a nice ball(Messenger titanium)
And i kept bowling and bowling...i got freakin good...my average was about 220.
and i quit...sad day for me...
And now, my HS is starting up a bowling team...and all my old bowling buddies are on it...
Chances are...i'm gonna be varsity...so i'll even get a jacket for it...lol

i used to bowl lots cant tell u an average but my highest score was around 230 250...on a real good round..

I LOVE to bowl...although I dont really go bowling anymore...but I do enjoy bowling...I'm pretty good at it too...i always beat my brother but maybe he just sucks...

Do you really suck??...damn man...maybe you'll get better with more practice...I wasn't that good the first couple of times I played but then I got the hang of it...

yeah, I don't bowl very often but I think the best I EVER did was 120....pretty sad....

looks like a nice ball....I never bought one cuz I never really got into bowling like that...although I wish i did...I wanted join the bowling team at my school but I dont think I would have made it...we have the best bowling team in the Bronx...kinda hard to get on the team and im not exactly a pro...:no:

bowling is fun to take girls out too. You can chat, move around and help her out if she needs it. Just have to be better then the guy a lane over from you otherwise you look bad... Rob dont take a girl out bowling until you learn how to bowl!

Went bowling with some friends and this girl was there that I liked...so I figured, yeah...I'll just try to impress her or whatever...umm well, long story short...she beat me and it was supposedly her first time bowling....good thing that we were drinking at the time so it really didn't effect me that much....

cool cool....i feel bad right now...my dog broke his leg 2 days ago...He's getting surgery next week...but for some reason he's not eating today or drinking water...he's just lying down on my pillow...he looks mad despressed...lol...i guess he's juss tired...;(

yes that is fun... and i still do that, but i was young, and alchohal was still new to my system, i didnt nkow how to bowl AND contain myself in public, so i concentrated on acting normal, and bowling went strait out the window

can't tell ya how to pick up that spare...my goal everytime i whip the ball down the lane is to get a strike, and if I don't then my next goal is just to get more pins down. I like to go bowling...but to me it's sorta expensive (it's like $12 or so to bowl around here) and then add the cost of beers on top of that :crazy: I need a guy to take me I guess! hehe...Maybe Rob can...I always like competition and WINNING:eek: :pfft: hehe just playin with ya Rob. I think my best score was when I did "Bowl for Kids Sake' in tenth grade...I bowled like a 170 for charity...made mad $$ for the kiddies. But on average I would say around a 120ish.

yea bowling in NY isn't all that cheap either....thats why when I play I usually only play 2 or 3 games....and then i be getting hungry and the price for food is ridiculous...lol...nah but i like bowling...i couldn't tell you how to pick up that pair...sowwy...:no:

oh and more than one of you mentioned bowling teams at your school????:crazy: wtf is up with that? Our most "exotic" sport was ice hockey...and it wasn't even that popular, but they were good. We had the typical hs sports.

yeah i mentioned that in my skool we have a bowling team which is the "best" in the bronx...I think we were undefeated last year...but they haven't begun playing this year if im not mistaken....i probably couldn't make the team even though i like to bowl...

what do you mean?...who's the fat out of shape person?....You dont have to be in shape to bowl...lol...its not like you do much anyways, all you do is pick up a ball and basically "throw" it at the pins...

Can a fat person play hockey? football? basketball? golf? baseball? The answer is yes, a fat out of shape person can do any of these. Only thing is, they will most likely be terrible at it (unless its a fball lineman)... anyways I've never seen a fat professional bowler. Oh... and arm wrestling and logging competitions are considered "sports", and most of the people in them are fat/hefty... Im just not sure if ur trying to bash bowling or fat people or what the point of that was:crazy:

me either...i mean fat people can play any sport they feel like but they probably wont be that good at it unless its a sport that needs a couple of big people...my brother is pretty big and he bowls pretty good...lol

You don't have to be in shape, or skinny
to do any sports...
And there are actually mant obese people that are in shape...and there are more skinny "Out of shape" than there are fat...(I saw it on discovery channel;) )

yea i got the good fat...lol....My doctor says im obese cuz im 183 pounds and im supposed to be like 150 or something but i got muscles...i work out at school and at home...so i got that good fat in my body...lol
