Does anyone know which brand is good? I'm looking into getting one for my accord, but have no clue as to which one is good.

And does anyone know how much it would cost to install?

Thanks

i would go for the viper 550 esp. pretty good range and one of the best alarm systems out there. i'm gonna move it to the security forum since brandon knows a lot about this stuff.

hija ;D.... yes i too would recommend the dei line. Viper is my favorite cause of the remotes ;/ The next question would be, do you want an alarm/starter combo? If so go with the 550. If not and you just want something simple go with the 150. If you want a little more hightech wait for there responder model to come out which is an LCD remote 2 way pager alarm/starter combo ;D Hope this helps

Thanks for the recommendation, I got a few more questions:

Do you guys know of any good sites that I can order the Viper 550, or any viper products?

How much would it cost to install a system like this? And can I do it myself?

Is bulldog a good brand for engine starters, I found this on eBay:

bulldog - no, people aren't supposed to sell DEI off the internet, they are supposed to be purchased from an authroized DEI dealer. You can get them off ebay. I'd say it would take 1-2 hours for starter. No, don't install it yourself.

Does anyone know if you can get a remote starter on a manual transmission. How would it work with the clutch?
